Chinese smartphone maker Oppo teased the launch of its upcoming selfie smartphone Oppo F5. The company on its Philippines Facebook page mentioned that it will be unveiling its next flagship phone on October 26 in Philippines. The company has already started sending out invites showing the image of the phone. However, it is still uncertain as to whether the Philippines launch will follow a China or global unveiling or not. But for now, this is the only disclosed information regarding the selfie-centric phone’s launch.

On Oppo’s Philippines page, the launch teaser carries the tagline “F5: Capture the real you,” clearly stating that the smartphone would be a selfie-centric one. Oppo F5 has been appearing in leaks over the past two weeks, the first one being the launch posters in the Philippines.

The posters were spotted with the same tagline in SM Megamall in Metro Manilla. The posters display the smartphone from behind. They are seen in Black and Red colour variants along with a single rear camera setup and a fingerprint sensor on the back panel.

In additional set of Oppo F5 leaks, the smartphone has been showed in a video promoting its selfie cameras, as well as render images. According to reports, the Oppo F5 is anticipated to come with a 6-inch FHD+ display and an 18:9 aspect ratio.

The smartphone will sport dual front cameras of either 12MP or 16MP. Also expected is a 20MP rear camera with LED flash and a 4000mAh battery backup. The phone could offer a 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is also expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 625 or 630 processor.
