Oppo is all ready to make this New Year enjoyable for users with its latest device Oppo R11S. This New Year Anniversary Edition has already been able to garner everybody’s attention, as the smartphone carries enticing features. The smartphone comes in two variants, with the first one is Red in colour and has a gold-coloured border, which surrounds the camera module at the back while the second one is gold in colour. It is not the first time that the Chinese smartphone manufacturers have come up with the idea of New Year’s edition. Last year too Oppo had commemorated the new year with a brand new device – Oppo R9S.

Prices and Availability

Nothing much is known officially about the price of the handset and its availability. It is rumored to go on sale by the end of December. Only time will unfold how this device is taken by the users.

Being a manufacturer of camera-centric devices, users always expect Oppo to launch smartphones with amazing cameras. This time also the Oppo hasn’t disheartened the consumers with respect to this. Interestingly, this handset comes with a dual rear camera setup and a front camera with the AI features such as the AI Beauty mode comprising of 200 facial enhancements. The primary rear camera is a 20-megapixel and the secondary is 16-megapixel, both having a f/1.7 aperture. The selfie lovers can enjoy its 20-megapixel front-facing camera sensor with new tricks like scene detection and the portrait mode.

As far as the features are concerned, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and has a 3,205mAh battery backed Oppo’s VOOC fast charging technology. This smartphone has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, but recently it’s another version has been rolled out with 6GB RAM. The price of this Champagne Gold variant is 3,599 Yuan, which is around $545 when converted directly. Furthermore, it runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat based operating system Color OS 3.2 and carries a 6.01-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
