The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi recently launched Lake Blue colour edition of its best-selling Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 in India. The device will be available for sale on Flipkart and Mi.com from today and will cost Rs 12,999.

Redmi Note 4 has been the best-selling smartphone for Xiaomi. It features a 5.5-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and a pixel density of 401 ppi. The display also offers wide-viewing angles. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device offers 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card.

In terms of optics, it sports a 13-megapixel camera with dual LED flash on the rear and a 5-megapixel camera front selfie shooter.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and is expected to receive Nougat update soon. The device is backed by a 4100mAh battery that provides enough more than 24 hour durability on a single charge. Network options include 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS Glonass, micro-USB support. There is also dual-SIM support, one of which can be used as microSD slot.

To commemorate this cause, we are launching Redmi Note 4 Lake blue edition which would further contribute to this cause,” Manu Jai, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director, Xiaomi India said.

Jain also took it to twitter to inform that the company has sold more than 25 million devices, since their first phone launch in July, 2014.
