Reliance Jio has come with a “Surprise Cashback Offer” as an answer to its counterparts which will be effective from December 26 to January 15, 2018. Under the offer, customers will be able to avail a cashback of up to Rs 3,300 on recharges of Rs 399 or more. Jio’s official website says that the “Surprise Cashback Offer” will provide 100% Jio cashback offers worth Rs 400, up Rs 300 instant cashback vouchers on digital wallets and up to Rs 2,600 discount vouchers from e-commerce players.

The company will give out eight vouchers of Rs 50, totaling to Rs 400 which can later be used to recharge Jio number itself in future and will be credited to MyJio app.

Coming to Rs 300 on e-wallets, Amazon Pay users will get instant cashback of Rs 100 for both new and existing users while new Paytm users will get Rs 50 cashback and existing users will only get Rs 30. On PhonePe, new users will get Rs 75 vouchers while the existing users will get Rs 30. On Axis Pay, new users will get a cashback of Rs 100 while the existing users will get only Rs 30. On FreeCharge, new users will get Rs 50 cashback while the existing customers will get Rs 30. On MobiKwik, new and existing users will get Rs 300 MobiKwik SuperCash but users will have to use code JIOGIFT at the time of the recharge.

Talking about e-commerce vouchers, users will get 20% discount on Zoomcar up to Rs 1,000, 30% discount on OYO Hotels and 50% discount on OYO Money cashback up to Rs 1,500 and up to Rs 2,000 on PaytmMall on the purchase of Rs 10,000 in electronics. On Big Basket, get a discount of 20% on a minimum purchase of Rs 600, flat Rs 300 off on order of Rs 1,200 via Gorfers, Rs 1,000 off on round-trip and Rs 500 on one-way trip on flight booking via Yatra.com. The cashback offer expires on March 31.

To recall, Jio has already announced two new monthly plans for new year offering up to 2GB if daily data at Rs 199 and Rs 299. The Rs 199 plan offers users 1.2GB daily data while the Rs 299 plan offers 2GB data per day. The Happy New Year 2018 plans also offer unlimited access to voice calls, unlimited SMS and unlimited access to Jio’s app suite. Both the plans come with a validity of 28 days.
