Xiaomi Mi 6X smartphone is making the rounds online with new renders every now and then. This time there are fresh images of the back and the front leaking much information regarding the device. It is rumored that the successor of the Mi 5X will sport a 5.7-inch or 5.9-inch Full HD+ resolution display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The images of the alleged Xiaomi Mi 6X showcases that the handset will have thinner bezels both at the top and the bottom in comparison to its predecessor, the Mi 5X. Therefore, one may expect the device to have an elongated display and it is also speculated that the handset will be sold as Xiaomi Mi A2 outside China.

As far as the rear side of the Xiaomi Mi 6X smartphone is concerned, the second image shows that the handset will be accompanied with metal unibody design having a matte finish. The fingerprint sensor will be placed at the rear side and the dual rear camera setup will be vertically arranged in the left corner with an LED flash sandwiched between the two snappers. Interestingly, a leaked render of a Mi 6X case leaked highlighted that the bottom side of the device will sport a 3.5mm audio jack, external speaker and USB-C port, while at the top of the handset may feature an IR blast and the volume buttons and Power key will be placed at the right edge of the device.

Another report has recently claimed that the Mi 6X will be powered by Xiaomi’s upcoming Surge S2 processor, which might make way at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 event that will be held in Barcelona in February. Better wait for the unveiling and then one can see how far these rumors turn to be true.
