Rumors have it that Samsung is working on an upcoming device, calling it the Galaxy A5 and the phone are expected to feature an infinity display. Even though this might not be very surprising for you considering the latest devices from Samsung like Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ that also featured all-screen displays.

The only major difference is that the Samsung Galaxy A5 will be the first device to feature an infinity display on a smaller screen of merely 5-inches or less. Since the company has opted for an infinity glass for the Galaxy A5, it is pretty obvious that there will be no home button and fingerprint sensor at the front. We can expect the home button to be on-screen and the fingerprint sensor could be shifted to the rear, just below the camera.

The confirmation for the smartphone with a model number-SM A530F was reported by National Radio Research Agency South Korea. According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy A5 will be running on Android Nougat 7.1.1 OS and will be receiving an upgrade to Android Oreo by next year. Switching to an infinity display for a smaller sized device is a very feature to be seen and this decision from the South Korean giant can boost up the sales for its upcoming flagship phones.
