Making the telecom war further intense, Vodafone has come up with its new prepaid plan to take lead in the market. The new plan of Rs 244 is for new prepaid customers which will offer 1GB of 4G data per day for 70 days. But, the plan is for only new prepaid customers. The plan also offers unlimited STD and local calls with restriction to Vodafone network only. Further, the validity of the plan reduces to 35 days on the next recharge of same amount.

It should be noted that the pricing and validity of the plan may vary according to the region. But, if you are already a Vodafone customer then there is something for you as well. Vodafone is offering Rs 346 plan that offers unlimited voice calling to any network with a daily cap per day. So, the plan is really not unlimited and has a restriction of 300 minutes per day and 1,200 minutes per week.

The plan is still not as competent as offered by Reliance Jio. When compared to Reliance Jio’s Rs 309 plan, a customer get 1GB 4G data per day with 128kbps speed post exhaustion. The Jio plan also offers unlimited voice calls to any network including STD and local calls. So, you pay Rs 37 more for the same service. Let’s see if the new plan can attract new customers to the Vodafone’s network or not.
