The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is available for the customers to buy at offline retailers at the price of 32,999 which is why we are expecting an official announcement by Xiaomi regarding the price dip, and then the new price can be seen on Flipkart and mi.com pretty soon as well. The device was launched in October last year in India and was made available in its first sale in the same month. There was only one variant that was launched that featured 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.

Other features of the phone include a dual sim (nano) slot and it runs MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It sports a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC that’s coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Moving forward to the connectivity options on this device, it includes 4G (support for 43 LTE bands), VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, digital compass, gyroscope, and ultrasonic proximity sensor. The display has a pixel density of 403ppi, and is complete with DCI-P3 colour gamut support. It has minimal bezels on three sides, with only a ‘bottom chin’ that sports the front camera and other sensors.

Since there is no top bezel that can house the earpiece, Xiaomi has made it clear to use a ‘hidden sound-guided speaker’ that resonates sound through the display and frame. It bears a ceramic body with a 7-Series aluminum frame and a 18K gold plated camera ring on the rear panel.
