The information comes from a listing spotted in JD.com that briefly teased the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. However listing did not contain any image of the smartphone but only shared name of the phone and price tag of CNY 8,888. It is clearly a placeholder as 8 is the lucky number of the company. The actual price of the smartphone is CNY 1,200 (roughly Rs 11,823) The JD.com is a major seller in China.
