Xiaomi has a good for its users as it has decided to integrate MIUI 9 software in the smartphones. The company has also revealed that it will cover around 40 devices to the software. While, in some flagship devices, the software has already been integrated. Surprisingly, Xiaomi listed some of the old devices as well for the updation including 2012 models.

Xiaomi has taken a great step as most of the android devices get out of date within 2 years. However, the software update is a must for keeping devices upgraded to the latest specifications. The process of updating brings many new features related to bug fixes and security to the device.

MIUI 9 is the latest version of Xiaomi custom that supports top android and the 9 version had already launched earlier in a month of July. While the UI is under tests and needs more improvements. It is revealed that end number of beta builds of MIUI 9 global ROM was already released but recently Xiaomi decided to roll out the stable version only as it has been properly evaluated.

The company has revealed that the new software update is for eligible devices only. Given that the step was taken after receiving many requests from MIUI fans.
