Oppo has finally unveiled its much-awaited selfie focused smartphone Oppo F5 in Philippines. The smartphones comes as the new offering in the selfie-centric smartphone series. The front camera on the smartphone is powered with artificial intelligence (AI) beauty technology. Following the the trend, smartphone features thin bezels on each side and is set to launch in India on November 2.

The Oppo F5 is available for pre-orders in Philippines and is available in a standard 4GB variant and special edition 6GB RAM variant.The 4GB RAM variant offers 32GB of internal storage and has been priced at Rs 15,990 (approx. Rs 20,000) and is offered in two colour variants including Gold and Black. The 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant comes in special red colour. However, the price of red coloured smartphone has not been revealed by the company now but we will come to know about it after the smartphone is revealed next year.

The smartphones will go on sale in India from November 2.

The Oppo F5 sports a 6-inch TFT Full-HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek (MT6763T) SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM. It offers an 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded with the help of a microSD card (up to 256GB).In terms of optics, Oppo F5 sports a 20-megapixel sensor front selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. There is a 16-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and LED flash. The handset offers dual Nano-SIM support. The handset runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat atop ColorOS 3.2. The device draws its juice from a 3200mAh battery. There are GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, GPS with VoLTE, Wi-Fi and USB OTG connectivity support. The biggest standout feature of the Oppo F5 is the front camera that comes with AI-enabled beauty technology.
