Interestingly, neither Samsung nor the Apple’s wireless charging is anywhere near to this massive 16W charging. The latest charging pad from Samsung even has around 10W wireless charging while that of Apple is 7.5W. The consumers need to wait to see how successful this M7 smartphone from Gionee will be as with the wireless charging the device will also carry a strong and fast wired charging.

If compared to the wired charger, then this 16W (9V/1.78A) wireless charger from Gionee is similar to 18W wired fast charger. Furthermore, the charger of M7 Plus will also support the version 1.2 of the Qi Wireless Charging standard. Intelligently, a steel part has been located to support wireless charging in the leatherback M7 Plus smartphone. Undoubtedly, the 16 W wireless charging blended with an amazing 6.43-inch full view larger display screen and an aspect ratio 18: 9 appears quite promising. Definitely, this masterstroke from Gionee is going to give a hard time to other brands in the smartphone market.
