Samsung recently entered the list of brands with dual camera smartphones with Galaxy Note 8 and the images of its second dual camera smartphone, Galaxy J7+ have already surfaced on the internet. The second installation of Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) sporting a dual camera will be made official very soon, and Thailand will be the first market to get it.

The live hands-on images of Galaxy J7+ posted by a Weibo users go in line with the reported teaser spotted in previous leaks and renders.

The speculated specifications of the Samsung Galaxy J7+ include 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The device is said to be powered by an octa-core processor, though it is not clear it will be a Qualcomm or a MediaTek one. The device is expected to offer 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The battery capacity of Galaxy J7+ is said to be 3000mAh, and it is expected to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy J7+ will sport a dual camera setup at the back, making it second smartphone by the South Korean giant to sport dual camera setup. There is said to a 13-megapixel camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture coupled with a 5-megapixel camera sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. There is also speculated to be a 16-megapixel front selfie shooter on the device.

Similar to its recent flagship devices, Samsung is expected to have placed a dedicated button for Bixby (Samsung’s digital assistant) at the left side of the device. A fingerprint sensor is likely embedded in the home button. There is no information regarding price of the Galaxy J7+ as of now.

If the speculations happen to be correct, Galaxy J7+ will play a major role in favour of Samsung as it will be the first mid-range smartphone by the company to sport dual camera setup and second overall.
