Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is making rounds online and the new renders have much to add. Recently, another leak by TargetYouTube has surfaced online suggesting that the handset will carry an aspect ratio of 18:9 and will be accompanied by a fingerprint sensor at the back. The latest images also point out that the device will have thinner bezels and will be embracing the dual camera setup at the back panel. If one may recall another leak emerged online through the website of China’s 3C certification that highlighted the release of two variants. Now, these renders are backing the claims of the website in one way or the other.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pricing

Interestingly, one may mark in the renders that the Redmi Note 5 smartphone is shown in three colours – grey, black and navy blue. According to a report by TargetYouTube the expected date of the launch of Redmi Note 5 is March/ April 2018. The price is speculated to start at CNY 1,499, which is approximately Rs. 15,200, while a report of MyDrivers claims it to CNY 1,599, which is around Rs. 16,300. Nothing much could be said with confirmation as Xiaomi has made no official statement regarding the Redmi Note 5 smartphone.

It is expected that the successor of Redmi Note 4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset and will feature a 5.99-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display of screen resolution 1080×2160 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is also believed that the handset will be running on MIUI 9 based on top of Android 8.0 Oreo and have a memory configuration of 3/ 4GB of RAM and 32/ 64GB onboard storage options.

As aforementioned the new renders suggest that the Redmi Note 5 will be accompanied by a dual camera setup. Rumoredly, it will have a 16-megapixel primary camera while the second sensor will be of 5-megapixel.The selfie camera is alleged to be of the 8-megapixel sensor coupled with 1080p video recording. Furthermore, it is speculated that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 smartphone will be packed by with fast charging support 4100mAh battery. Only time will tell the how far these buzz turns out to be true, but as of now better hope for the best.
