The much-awaited Motorola Edge+ is finally launched today. The recently launched Edge+ comes with a 90Hz curved OLED display and multiple cameras at the back with a 108-megapixel main sensor. The new smartphone from Motorola will be available for purchase in India from May 26 and comes in two distinct colour variants. The particular smartphone is already in the US market since last month. The Edge+ uses a Snapdragon chipset 865 SoC from Qualcomm and retains the 3.5mm audio jack.

The Motorola Edge+ is effectively priced in India at Rs. 74,999 for the single 12GB + 256GB storage variant. It is available in two colour options – Smoky Sangria and Thunder Grey. It is available for pre-booking and deliveries will commence from May 26.

Users can avail the launch offer that include flat Rs. 7,500 instant discount on purchases made using ICICI bank credit cards on Flipkart. Moreover, the buyers can avail the same benefit as the cashback amount of Rs. 7500 on purchasing the phone offline using the ICICI Bank credit cards. The instant discount and cashback will be valid on EMI as well as non-EMI transactions.

The new Edge series marks Motorola’s return to the space and is packed with key specifications. The new smartphone runs on stock Android 10 and is upgradable to Android 12, as and whenever it becomes available. The phone features a curved 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display and the refresh rate stands at 90Hz. It is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC and supports 5G. Further, it is paired with 12GB of RAM. Internal UFS 3.0 storage is at 256GB and doesn’t support expansion via a microSD card.

Connectivity options on the Edge+ include 5G (NR sub-6GHz), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. As for the optics, the Motorola Edge+ is packed with a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera that comes with OIS support and provides 3x optical zoom output. This phone is equipped with a 25-megapixel front camera and has an additional Time of Flight (ToF) sensor as well.

Motorola Edge+ relies on a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The phone supports an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Edge+ measures 161.1×71.4×9.6mm and weighs 203 grams.
