Airtel has once again revised its Rs 799 plan for prepaid subscribers. The pack now offers 3.5GB 3G/4G data per day along with unlimited local/STD calling along with free roaming voice calls. The pack also offers 100 local and national SMS per day for 28 days.

The Rs 799 plan earlier used to offers 3GB 3G/4G data on a daily basis along with bundled calls and SMSes. The move is taken as Airtel’s answer to Reliance Jio’s 799 pack which was initially available only for iPhone users which offers only 3GB data per day. Airtel’s new plan offers 3.4GB of data on daily basis which is 14GB more than what is Reliance Jio is offer.

`Similar to a new trend in the Indian telecom industry, both the local and STD unlimited calls in the Airtel 799 pack are restricted to only 250 minutes a day and 1,000 minutes per week.

Airtel introduced the Rs 93 pack for its prepaid users in answer to Reliance Jio’s Rs 98 plan. Airtel is offering 1GB data per day along with unlimited local and STD calls. The pack also offers 100 local and national SMS per day.

In addition to bundled data, calls and SMS, users can also get a cashback of Rs 75 by purchasing the pack through Airtel Payments Bank.
