Xiaomi launched the Redmi 5A as ‘Desh Ka Smartphone’ yesterday. It is an entry-level smartphone that is priced at Rs 5,999 but the company provides flat Rs 1,000 off to first 5 million customers bringing the price down to Rs 4,999. The company has provided discount only on the 2GB/16GB variant of the phone.

Now, you can get the smartphone at an effective price of Rs 3,999. Yes, you heard it right. Customers will get additional Rs 1,000 discount if they opt for Jio 4G tariff plan. Reliance Jio has launched a better together offer to go along with Xiaomi’s newly launched budget smartphone, Redmi 5A. The subscribers will have to recharge their Jio number with Rs 199 plan which will grant access to unlimited data, unlimited voice calls and unlimited SMS for 28 days. Subscribers will also get the Redmi 5A at an effective price of Rs 3,999.

The offer is applicable for a limited period to the first 50 lakh customers only. The phone also comes in 3GB/32GB variant which is priced at Rs 6,999.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A-Reliance Jio Offer

The Rs 199 tariff plan introduced by Reliance Jio will offer the Xiaomi Redmi 5A. Under the offer, the subscribers will get unlimited high-speed data with a limit of 1GB, unlimited voice calls (local/STD)) and unlimited SMS for 28 days. Subscribers will have to make Rs 199 recharge for 12 months.

The subscribers will get the cashback vouchers worth Rs 1,000 in the form of 10 vouchers. The 10 vouchers will be received immediately at the end of 12 months. These vouchers will be credited to subscribers to their account and will be visible under My Vouchers in MyJio app.

The vouchers can be redeemed only one at a time, against the recharges of Rs 309 and above plans and against Rs 201 and above data add-ons. This can be done only via MyJio app before November 30, 2019.
