The market is flooded with leaks and renders of HTC’s next flagship smartphone, the HTC U12 but the company is teasing the launch of HTC U11 EYEs on January 15. HTC has put up a post on Weibo asking fans to ‘save the date’.

The phone and the launch date was earlier leaked by popular tipster Evan Blass. Apart from this, the images, price and specifications of the smartphone were also tipped as HTC Harmony.

Evan Blass’ tweet suggested that the phone, HTC U11 EYEs will be launched on January 15 and will cost around CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 32,400). The leaked photos also revealed the presence of a dual selfie camera on the U11 EYEs. The phone will also come with water and splash resistance with IP67 certification and is shown in Black, silver and Red colour.

HTC U11 EYEs Specifications

The HTC U11 EYEs will come with a 6-inch FHD Super LCD3 display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. The device will offer 4GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64GB.

The phone will run on Android Nougat out of the box and will also come with USB Type-C port. The battery on board will be of 3930mAh capacity. The rear panel of the phone will house a single camera setup and a fingerprint sensor below it.
