Oppo launched its a new mid-budget smartphone, Oppo A71 in the Indian market today. The device is priced at Rs 12,999 and is available for sale on Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm and offline stores across the country. Oppo A71 comes in Gold and Black colour variants.

The Oppo A71 features a 5.2-inch HD TFT display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The smartphone will run on Android 7.1 Nougat atop ColorOS 3.1 out of the box. The device comes with a metallic unibody and is powered by MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor which is clocked at 1.5GHz. The smartphone offers 3GB RAM and an inbuilt storage of 16GB that can be expanded up to 256GB.

Oppo A71

In terms of optics, the smartphone sports a 13MP camera sensor on the rear with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and LED flash. The camera comes with Multi Frame Denoising technology which allows users to capture clearer pictures even when lighting conditions are not proper. The images will still be detailed and have more realistic colours as claimed by the company. The company also claims that despite featuring a single rear camera, the device is capable of producing Bokeh effect for portraits. There is a 5MP front camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 for capturing selfies.

On network front, the Oppo A71 features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB with OTG support and 3.5mm audio jack. All of it is powered by a 3000mAh battery that supports fast charging. Despite a decent battery and hardware, the smartphone only measures 148.1×73.8×7.6mm and weighs only 137grams.
