Months after Micromax and Itel Mobile, China’s Transsion Group-owned, tied up to make entry-level phones available to users at an affordable price, Vodafone has joined hands together with Flipkart on Wednesday, to unveil the entry-level 4G devices in Indian market at a price of Rs. 999. Whether existing or new, all Vodafone prepaid subscribers can avail this intriguing offer. Flipkart has come up with a campaign under which this offer has been made available – #MyFirst4GSmartphone. If users may recall, in the last October, a similar partnership was announced by Vodafone with Micromax in which the Bharat-2 Ultra 4G-capable feature phone was at a price of Rs. 999. Alongside, this new offer there are also cashback offers for Vodafone subscribers who are intending to buy this device. All those Vodafone users who are interested in making purchases from Flipkart must recharge their Vodafone prepaid accounts with at least Rs. 150 per month and this recharge will continue for 36 months. After the first 18-month period of the recharge is completed, then the subscribers will get a cashback of Rs. 900, whereas after another 18 months, the users will be getting Rs. 1,100 cashback, thereby making the total worth of cashback Rs. 2,000. At the end of the 36-month period, the cashback of the subscribers will be credited to their Vodafone M-Pesa wallets. This offer will be available till March 31 and users must have a valid Vodafone prepaid SIM card.
