In order to enhance the sale of smartphones, Xiaomi is always ready to come up with innovative ideas. Xiaomi has now unveiled Xiaomi Mi A1 Special Edition, which will go on sale from December 20. Interestingly, Xiaomi will also be is hosting its No. 1 Fan Sale from December 20 to 21 via its official site Mi.com. Furthermore, this sale will also be providing the Redmi 5A and Redmi Y1 at a discounted price, other than the new Red variant of Mi A1.

The special Red edition of Xiaomi Mi A1 will be via Mi.com and Flipkart, other than the Mi Home stores, Mi Retail partner stores and Mi Preferred Partner stores. The price of the smartphone has been fixed at Rs. 13,999.

The special edition Mi A1 is an intelligent way from Xiaomi to welcome the festive seasons. The features will be similar to the original Mi A1, which was released in India back in September. The device will just have a new red paint to make it look appealing. As far as the operating system is concerned, it will run on the same Android 7.1.2 Nougat and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The device will have a 5.5-inch IPS display with full-HD and a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Backed by a 3080mAh battery, the 4GB RAM smartphone is now available in four colours in India – this new special Red edition, Black, Gold and the last month released Rose Gold.
