Xiaomi is back in news and all for positive reasons. The Chinese smartphone company is all set to unveil its most awaited smartphone Redmi Note 5, which is expected to carry forward the legacy of Xiaomi’s “most popular” device Redmi Note 4. The leaks and rumors have been circulating in the smartphone world from a past few months, but this time it has been geared up due to the expectation of the handset getting unveiled sooner in January next year just like its predecessor, which was launched in January last year. Furthermore, the two other smartphones from the Beijing headquartered company is going on sale – Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite.

Redmi Note 5

The Redmi Y1 Lite is a smartphone with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage while the Redmi Y1 device comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal memory at Rs 8,999 and Rs. 10,999, respectively. Interestingly, the two smartphones – Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite are going for sale on Amazon India website and Xiaomi Mi Store at a time when many other companies are starting the sale of smartphone such as Honor 7X or the Flipkart Pinch Day sale where innumerable devices are available at a discounted rate.

Coming back to the images leaked of Redmi Note 5 on Weibo, a Chinese Microblogging site, users will be flabbergasted to know that Redmi Note 5 would be embracing an all screen display with rear dual cameras. Moreover, it is also expected to carry a 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC. It is also rumored to be unraveled in two variants. The first one would be having 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage capacity while the second variant will carry 4GB RAM with 64GB storage.
